Saska's Restaurant Review: There’s no question that Saska’s combination of high quality meat and seafood, good service and an historic Mission Beach location are a success---after all, it has been drawing crowds for 60 years. The menu has retained its old-time favorites, like the reliable rib-eye and juicy center-cut pork chops, as well as adding more contemporary offerings, including sushi and coconut shrimp for the younger set. Try the deep-fried zucchini or red-hot chili poppers with jalapeño jam as an appetizer. Go for the teriyaki steak as an entrée; it’s a ten-ounce top sirloin marinated in soy and ginger sauce, served with fresh pineapple. |
