Sawasdee Restaurant Review: It’s no surprise that this neighborhood restaurant, tucked in a nondescript strip mall, is always busy --- it serves up some of the best Thai dishes in town. Just ask the regulars who account for most of the crowd. Sawasdee offers plenty of choices for vegetarians; in fact, there’s something for almost every craving, from glass noodle soup to pad thai and pha-naeng curry, with each prepared to the desired heat level. Daily specials are popular, especially the entrée soups, as are the daily desserts such as pumpkin pudding. The wine selection is sufficient, with many options available by the glass. Alternatively, try an Asian beer to complement your meal. |
