THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Sawasdee Restaurant Review:
This neighborhood restaurant, tucked in a nondescript strip mall, serves up some of the best Thai dishes in town. Just ask the regulars, who account for most of the crowd. Sawasdee offers plenty of choices for vegetarians; in fact, there’s something for almost every craving. Poh taek is a hearty soup of shrimp, squid, mussels and fish. Pick the desired level of spiciness for yum nur, which features grilled beef slices with vegetables and is to be wrapped in the accompanying lettuce or cabbage leaves. Classic noodle and rice entrées are rich with flavor and freshness. The wine selection is sufficient, with many options available by the glass. Alternatively, try an Asian beer to complement any main. For dessert, try the classic Thai custard or check the daily specials board for other sweet options.
