THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sazerac House Restaurant Review:
Cajun and Creole favorites spice up a menu that is otherwise staunchly American. There's fiery jambalaya, entrée-portion crab cakes and that great comfort meal of all seasons, country fried chicken. The American offerings include steak, green salad with grilled chicken, and salmon. Portions are large, and the prices fairly inexpensive. The food is complemented by the ambience; the restaurant is situated inside an historic 19th-century building that has more character than just about any of the new-fangled architectural wonders which have recently sprung up around Manhattan.
