The Sea Goose Grill & Raw Bar Restaurant Review

: The Sea Goose occupies the former WB Cody's location, and its blue-hued interior and aquarium-like design tempts one to stay indoors. But on a beautiful summer night, the rustic, screened-in porch beckons with its sunset views. The traditional margarita we sampled leaned too heavily on the sour mix, but the watermelon margarita was a nice blend of puréed fruit and Hornitos tequila. On one occasion, dinner got off to a promising start with some lightly breaded and delicately fried Point Judith calamari, but we found the lobster bisque a disappointment --- too much tomato, not enough lobster. An order of shrimp and grits was similarly underwhelming. You can't go wrong with the raw bar, however, boasting local seafood, or the seafood stew, made with lobster, shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels and calamari in a tasty saffron tomato broth. The dessert menu includes raspberry tiramisu and Key lime pie.
