Sea Harbour Seafood Restaurant Restaurant Review

: Chinese food aficionados fill the seats at this popular restaurant to enjoy some of the Lower Mainland’s finest Cantonese cuisine, so reservations are a must. Accents of gold and dark wood highlight the décor in the elegant dining room, and service is unobtrusively efficient. Sea Harbour’s sophisticated plates include crispy skinned deep-fried squab, and steamed buns with a golden salty-sweet filling of preserved egg yolk. Other standout menu items are the sliced chayote pan-fried with minced pork and preserved black olive leaves, and gai lan with a variety of Chinese preserved meats. The spotlight shines brightly on fresh, local seafood, such as soy-braised spot prawns and a bubbling hot pot of Dungeness crab with chunks of kabocha squash and black bean sauce. Lunch is focused on dim sum, but dinner items may also be ordered. Instead of pairing your meal with wine, we suggest ordering a beer or tea.
