The Sea Shell Restaurant Restaurant Review

: A takeaway to one side and a large restaurant to the other, with wooden partitions and walls decorated with murals, this is a favourite with taxi drivers, locals and tourists. The standard of frying is high, with proper nut oil used; the same respect is given the crisp batter coating the fresh halibut, sole, plaice or whatever is recommended. Fat chips and those British mushy peas complete the picture, and there’s a wide range of salads as well. Good service and a friendly atmosphere make The Sea Shell Restaurant one of London's tried-and-trusted eateries. Mon.-Thurs. set 2-course lunch £15.
