THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Seafood & Sunsets at Julie's Restaurant Review

: Salads, hamburgers and both grouper sandwiches and dinners dominate the menu and reflect the typical, casual beach food most diners seem to expect here. While guests are gazing out at the beach view of the Gulf of Mexico, however, they also may note that the menu has some nice surprises. There’s barbecue shrimp grilled on a skewer. The Key West conch is pounded to tenderize, lightly breaded and fried in a special house batter. The Grouper Oscar comes topped with crabmeat, asparagus and hollandaise sauce. Tasty alligator nuggets make a good appetizer and there’s a sandwich that stands out: one made from either broiled or fried scallops, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. The Chicken Mediterranean is charbroiled and served in a red sauce with black olives, green peppers and herbs and served over linguine. Pies are good here: Always be sure to ask about the pie of the day.
