Blue C Sushi has opened its fifth and largest location at Bellevue Square, giving Eastsiders the opportunity to experience top quality kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi that Seattle-ites have enjoyed since Blue C Sushi first launched in 2003. Catering to avid sushi lovers, Blue C uses grade-one fish only, Nishiki sushi rice, and Yamamoto Gold premium nori. Todd English's chic restaurant in the Seattle Marriott Waterfront hotel is now the 2100 Bistro. The Alaska Way restaurant is serving regional fare from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. in the hotel's lobby with dinner in the dining room. While many restaurants are opening second locations these days in Bellevue, Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar's highly respected owner/ched John Howie is swimming against the tide and bringing his culinary magic to Seattle. Seastar is known for its outstanding raw bar, beautifully presented and innovative seafood dishes, along with exceptional service. Seattle's Seastar is located in the former site of Marzul, above Whole Foods Market in South Lake Union. Picholine, and the acclaimed wine and cheese restaurant, Artisanal, will be opening Artisanal Brasserie & Wine Bar and The Artisanal Table Pizzeria Tapas Wine Bar this September in downtown Bellevue. The restaurant duo will join other high-profile eateries in the tony, soon-to-open Bravern complex at 112th Ave NE and NE 8th St. The two spots will be Brennan's first restaurant ventures outside Manhattan.
 
Anchovies & Olives, the fourth restaurant of celebrated Seattle chef Ethan Stowell, is now open on Seattle’s Capitol Hill. Focusing on Italian-inspired seafood and pasta, all menu items are priced between $5-18. Charles Walpole, formerly manning the kitchen at Mistral and Stowell's How to Cook a Wolf, is chef de cuisine. Calling All Crab Lovers to the Waterfront Seafood Grill
The Waterfront Seafood Grill's fourth annual "Cult of the Crab" is a crustacean lover's dream. For the month of March, the menu spotlights eight different types of fresh (flown in daily) crabs. The menu includes a steamed King Crab Leg Tasting ($85), which offers a special opportunity to sample Alaskan Red, Barents Sea and Hokkaido King crab side-by-side. For the crab celebration, chef Peter Levine has created more than a dozen new crab dishes such as crab Benedict, almond-crusted soft shell crabs, and Dungeness crab and spinach ravioli. The Herbfarm to Feature Kobe Beef
Kobe beef, a rare, expensive and exalted breed of cattle, will star on The Herbfarm's nine-course menu from March 20 through April 11, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The menu, created by executive chef Keith Luce, will feature Kobe, more properly known as "Wagyu," from the Pacific Northwest. Five-hour dinners at this legendary restaurant are $195 per person and include wines with each course. Reservations, which usually sell out, must be made in advance. Call 425-485-5300. Capitol Hill's Olivar Serves Up Weekend Brunch
Capitol Hill's popular Olivar is now serving brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Order the $15 prix-fixe  menu or a la carte entrées at this charming Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in the historic Loveless Building. Reservations are stongly advised. Olivar, 806 E. Bon Appetite Magazine Ranks Slim's Chili Shack Among Top 10 in the U.S.A.
Slim's chili shack in Georgetown, long a favorite with locals, has been selected as one of the Hot 10 chili restaurants in the country. This 21-and-over chili joint and music venue serves four fiery chilis: Texas red, brisket and bean, chile verde, and turkey and white bean. Grab some while they're hot! Dine Around Seattle Returns
Seattle’s most popular dining event, Dine Around Seattle, is back for its ninth year. Sundays through Thursdays throughout the month of March, some of Seattle’s best restaurants will be offering seasonal dishes as part of a prix-fixe lunch or dinner menu. Participating restaurants include Andaluca, Dahlia Lounge, Lola and Serafina. A three-course prix-fixe lunch costs $15, while a three-course prix-fixe dinner is priced at $30, not including beverage, tax or gratuity.
