Capitol Hill's popular Monsoon, known for its brilliantly prepared, modern Vietnamese cuisine, is now delighting diners in Bellevue. Monsoon East, located in the former Porcello Urban Market on old Main Street, serves a similar menu to its sister in downtown Seattle. Dinner nightly. Union spices up January and celebrates Hot Wings!
Attention hot wing aficionados! Chef Ethan Stowell---whose restaurants include Union, Tavolata, and How to Cook a Wolf---has invited local chefs to prepare a pile of hot wings from their own secret recipe and bring them to Union to be eaten and judged. Guests will be given a scorecard and can rate the hot wings while they sip ice cold beer. The finger-lickin’ fun begins at 6pm. The cost is $50/person and includes all the hot wings you can eat, fries, celery with blue cheese dressing, and tap beer. All proceeds from the event support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Icon Grill Extends Santa Brunch through January
If you missed the eccentric Icon Grill's celebrated Santa Brunch, you have a few more chances to enjoy the house cured salmon omelet, mixed berry buttermilk pancakes, and chicken fried steak and eggs. The popular Saturday and Sunday brunch with extra appeal for downtown shoppers and friends has been extended through the end of January.
