Wrought-iron features, pressed-tin ceilings, a fireplace and comfortable booths await in this dimly lit dining room. You might start with creamy chipotle shrimp or a seafood ceviche. Follow with a shrimp burrito, mesquite-smoked baby-back pork ribs with tamarind barbecue sauce, or the comforting birria estilo Jalisco --- a slow-braised lamb shank in a mild red chile sauce with a poblano-goat cheese relleno. Leave room for the chocolate con leche y galletas and flan con lima. All this gets washed down with specialty cocktails, like the Yucatan sangría with fresh blueberries, or the Jalisco flower margarita, which is mixed with elderflower liqueur. Mexican beers and wines are available on the small but approachable wine list.
