THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sessions Restaurant Restaurant Review

: The arrival of the Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs catapulted the Coachella Valley into an entirely different realm of cool. And, while we might like to reminisce about nights spent at the Hard Rock Café in the ’80s, HRH has taken the food up a notch by omitting the iconic restaurant altogether. Instead, there’s Sessions Restaurant sharing a large patio with the pool deck and serving tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner entrées in a cutting-edge setting. The all-day menu still draws on kitsch, with names like the "Purple Haze Baby Kale Salad," The “Boss” burger (we can only guess this is some sort of beefy tribute to Bruce Springsteen) and "My Way, the King" --- peanut butter- and banana-stuffed french toast. With a name like that, we can only hope Elvis has left the building. But once you get past the names, then it’s an enjoyable experience. Sessions has a truly inventive list of cocktails, craft beer and wine. If dining poolside and imbibing is the life of a rock star, sign us up --- stat.
