We love this Dupont Circle gentrified pizza place, which is the ideal setting to eat, meet, and greet in the tradition of DC's hipster crowd. Talk about buzz! Crowds jam themselves in to gossip, enjoy artful brick-oven pies, cozy up to the funky bar with its overhead TVs, and enjoy platters of authentic Neapolitan fare---no Italo-American tomato sauce here. Be advised before you enter that funky-gourmet pizzas give this place its edge. But if you are tired of pies, you can't go wrong with any one of the pasta dishes, as these will not resemble anything most Italian restaurants serve up. Management has obviously made the commitment to authenticity and honest cooking, for its pastas, such as the cecatelli con cime di rape (cecatelli with broccoli rabe and pecorino cheese) is one of the best pasta dishes in town. Don't hurry off before dessert: You'll find a Neapolitan favorite drink, Limoncello, as a flavoring for tiramisu. Yum.
