| A cozy neighborhood gem, Settebello aims to “adhere to the standards set forth by the Vera Pizza Napoletana (VPN) organization (which) promotes the art of pizza making as it has been done in Napoli for over 200 years.” The thin-crust pizzas are individual size, about 12 inches. Among choices we like, all topped with crushed tomatoes, mozzarella, basil and extra virgin olive oil, are the margherita (with Parmigiano-Reggiano); and the Settebello (with pancetta, roasted mushrooms, toasted pine nuts and wood oven-roasted fennel sausage). Don’t miss other fine items on the menu, including antipasti such as the misto with Italian-style meats, vegetables, a bite of cheese and focaccia; salads such as arugula with lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil; chocolate and pistachio gelati; and soft drinks and wines from Italy’s Campania region. |
