This is one of the new breed of Italian restaurants. It was bound to happen that Italian would spin in the direction of contemporary, and Settimana is headed in that direction. Some dishes delight, others give us a headache. Roasted garlic is used in five of the eight appetizers on the menu and too many dishes carry an overload of ingredients. A little restraint would help. Otherwise, the place is comfortable and service is friendly and informed.
