We shabu shabu. Do you? This style of dining is such fun, in fact, that we look forward to any excuse that can get us to the door of Shabu Shabu Jin Sang, where the tabletops have built-in heating elements that facilitate do-it-yourself cooking in simmering broth. Until Jin Sang came along we assumed that shabu shabu meals always were built on pork, but at this comfortable if rather brightly-lit restaurant, the choices extend to chicken and pork, always cut into paper-thin slices that cook within seconds of immersion in the hot liquid. As the meal progresses in courses it encompasses a wealth of fresh vegetables, and then noodles, and the broth that results from all this cooking can be drunk as a light conclusion to a very tasty dinner.
