Chic modern décor and soft lights create an attractive setting to enjoy a tantalizing menu. Satay rolls take grilled meats or fish and wrap them in rice paper with lettuce, cucumber, cilantro, avocado and vermicelli noodles for good taste and crunch. For an authentic Asian comfort dish, sample the ceramic lu pot (a Chinese home cooking method) combining egg, tofu, beef or bamboo shoots simmered with star anise, herbs and spices. A lively nine-flavor beef stir-fry features Mongolian beef sparked by freshly-grated ginger balanced with chili, lemon grass, coconut, lime and peanuts. Or choose the fiery kan gai, a Thai-style dish made with coconut milk curry, boneless chicken chunks, chopped bamboo shoots and bell peppers. The wine list has unusual depth for an Asian restaurant; many choices are available by the glass and there’s a good selection of drafts and microbrews as well.
