THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Shells Restaurant Review:

Situated among the wide array of restaurants that line U.S. 41, which is also known as Tamiami Trail (once the pre-interstate route from Tampa to Miami), this Shells promises reliable, reasonably priced seafood: catfish, shrimp, crab legs, lobster and fresh fish of the day. Many items are served with or on pasta. One of our favorites is Seafood Siciliano, a seafood mix with tomatoes, mushrooms and onions sautéed in an Italian red sauce. Those not in the mood for seafood can find a few items for their tastes, too, such as New York strip steak or char-grilled chicken breast. A limited dessert menu is perhaps the only regret.
