THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Shivnanda Restaurant Review:
You can watch the chefs perform their kitchen tasks from the attractive dining room. Walls are mirrored with paisley trim, tables are covered with white clothes and sport bright red napkins. This is one of the few Indian restaurants to have a beer and wine list, and the entire staff is very eager to please. The chef calls his food seasoned, not spicy, and is conscious of health requirements, so he uses as little oil as possible. Thus, the samosas and kebabs are greaseless and all the tandoori specials (shrimp, chicken, meat) are light and fresh tasting. They have eighteen different varieties of the leavened bread, naan. Unfortunately, theres not much more for dessert than pastry balls in rosewater.
