THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Shore Public House Restaurant Review:

This gastropub represents a culinary departure for co-owners Miguel Baeza and Adrian Amosa, creators of popular Long Beach eateries Alegria and Agaves. The compact space utilizes an open dining area and large street-view windows that make it seem bigger, while dramatic exposed brick walls, concrete floors and communal tables provide an industrial feel. The setting generates an ideal mood to indulge in the solid seasonal rotation of craft beers or even a glass of wine. Starters like the tender fig-lacquered pork belly with arugula, strawberry and cucumber or the generous board of Brussels sprouts served with chorizo are familiar and flavorful. We recommend wrapping your hands around a massive, juicy burger, which features toppings ranging from garlic aïoli and horseradish to cucumber and alfalfa sprouts. Simple mains such as baby-back ribs share the menu with the more complex pan-seared Atlantic salmon with a pomegranate reduction, pepitas and feta. Fans of the sweet and savory will want to save room for the dark chocolate-dipped kettle chips and berry salsa for dessert. A small brunch menu is available on weekends, featuring “hangover fries” topped with chicken and chorizo and smothered in Cajun gravy among bites.
