Diners have given the Contemporary cuisine of chef Frithof Wimmer their stamp of approval. They settle into the discreetly handsome brown-and-beige dining room to feast on superb dishes like sushi of grilled foie gras on seaweed-wrapped rounds of rice filled with rhubarb and apple chutney. Shozan’s owners produce saké in Japan, so there is quite a choice on hand for tasting.
