Sidetrack Cafe Restaurant Review:
Located inside an historic building from the 1800s, this small-town café percolates with local flavor --- think mismatched décor, antique frames and hardwood floors. The simple menu includes pub favorites like onion rings, nachos and a "J9" burger with blue cheese and sautéed vegetables. The offerings expand with such eclectic items as a caprese salad with artichokes and grilled chicken, and the Al Capone sandwich of Genoa salami, capicola and melted Provolone served alongside skin-on fries. Dine on the shaded patio during warm-weather days instead of in the indoor confines. Desserts are best in the morning with fresh, locally brewed coffee; by the evening, they look tired. Stop in for live music and a glass of wine from the worldly list on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights.
