Sidney's Grille Restaurant Review: Le Meridien Cambridge’s signature restaurant is a perfectly respectable option for the biotechies who lunch, students who breakfast or visitors disinclined to venture into still-slightly-scruffy Central Square. The kitchen undertakes myriad fusions and infusions of ingredients both luxe and local, and does so for the most part successfully, if predictably (a little white truffle here and harissa there). Start with a glass of Pinot Grigio and dive into the pigs-n-blanket wrapped in puff pastry or the jar of hummus with a side of crusty bread. We like the white bean bruschetta as well as the sausage, mozzarella and broccoli rabe flatbread, which is perfect for sharing. Main dishes include a double bone-in pork chop, bistro filet, day boat scallops and fluffy ricotta-stuffed ravioli. Go for the salted caramel ice cream sundae complete with peanuts and popcorn for dessert.
