Sidney's is one of those rare chains that doesn't feel like a chain. Each location feels exactly like a good neighborhood restaurant should: friendly, unpretentious and indispensable. Whether you take a seat in the bustling dining room or on the more serene and contemplative patio, you are assured brisk service and exactly what you're craving from the kitchen. We tend to go to Sidney's because we fall in love with a certain dish and no other choice will do, whether its the rotisserie chicken or one of the restaurants signature pizzas like the buffalo chicken, served with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing. Don't overlook the pastas, the coconut curry is especially aromatic and pleasing, and always, always save room for the apple-pie pizza for dessert. The pastry crust is light and airy, the apples crisp, the ice cream cold, and the warm caramel sauce melts on the tongue like a kiss.
