This elegant little French restaurant in the western suburbs, is really a paean to the owner’s mother, Helen Sigel Wilson. For years, the famed golfer ran a French restaurant in Center City, and then another one in the suburbs. It was the only game in town, long before the young turks came along. People who still dream about her carrot blinis with crème fraîche and red caviar, or her crisped shrimp with fruit sauce, or ethereal soufflés of chocolate or Grand Marnier, can have them all here, faithfully recreated. Experienced service and a decent wine list round things out.
