| This stylish restaurant appeals to the hip crowd that wants to kick back and enjoy exceptional food in a relaxed setting with a contemporary design, market-fresh cuisine and an in-crowd atmosphere. Chef Kerry Simon trotted the globe for seven years to open restaurants, including the Bellagio's Prime. Talented chef de cuisine Chris Vaughn perfectly replicates his cuisine. Among appetizers, we like the colossal crab cake with papaya Asian slaw, and the seared carpaccio and beef tartare with horseradish crème and watercress. The white clam pizza with mozzarella and fresh herbs is a winner, as are tandoori salmon with black bean salad and mango, and beef and veal meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes. Pastry chef Ashley Jenkin's warm chocolate pudding cake is matched with a vanilla bean milkshake; twice-baked banana bread with caramel rum sauce is served with brown sugar ice cream. The mountain of cotton candy is designed to being out the kid in all of us. |
