Located in the upscale area of Edgbaston, about a mile southwest of the city centre, Simpsons offers classic French cuisine in an historic Victorian villa. Acclaimed chef and owner Andreas Antona prepares traditional Gallic dishes like roast Anjou pigeon and fillet of Aberdeenshire beef cooked on the bone for an elite clientele that come to dine in surprisingly informal attire. The villa features private dining areas, a cooking school, an elegant garden and four themed bedrooms---French, Venetian, Oriental and Colonial---for those who want to stay for more than just a great, no-nonsense French dinner.
