Sindbad's Restaurant Review: With more than 60 years in business, Sindbad's is still run by members of the founding Blancke family. Although redecorated, the big riverside eatery left the vibe intact. Wooden floors and a handsome inlaid wood surface atop the long bar helped spruce up the place. In the summer, as many arrive by boat as by car for the perch, pickerel, burgers, steaks and salads and reliable clam chowder, all delivered by friendly servers. Long hours are a draw in a city where restaurants that are open late are few and far between. Try one of the ice cream drinks, such as the Hummer (rum and Kahlúa) or the Brandy Alexander (brandy and dark crème de cacao).
