Just a slip of a restaurant, this eatery offers an equally small menu geared mostly to please Western palates. Many dishes bear cutesy names and reflect management’s effort to attract a large crowd: Bubble Sea, Spicy Frog Leg, Tasty Ginger, Crispy Spicy, and Triple Fried give away few clues to each dish’s main game. On the other hand, there’s no guesswork involved with Thai crispy duck---which wasn’t at all crispy---or garlic shrimp. In the kitchen’s efforts to keep tastes tame for Western palates, much of the fire and thrill have been erased from such dishes as the typically fiery drunken noodles, which here are not only tame but cooked in a tomato sauce, a distinctly non-Thai ingredient. This may prove pleasant for midweek lunches, but if you crave real Thai flavors, look elsewhere.
