THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sisley Restaurant Review:
Francine and Jamie Alba have a built a five-restaurant chain of mid-priced Italian trattorias based on their grandmothers’ recipes, and this is the charming original. The space offers comfortable booths, a well-stocked bar and generous servings. If you bring a crowd, try the family-style pass-to-the-left portions of favorite dishes. We're impressed with specialties such as cioppino, linguine with clams and the Designer's Spinach Salad---a pasta, sun-dried tomato and pine nut concoction actually invented by the restaurant's designer. Seafood Al Bianco is an oceanic treat, with sautéed shrimp, scallops and calamari, served in a lemon-butter sauce, with subtle heat from chili flakes. The restaurant’s signature chicken dish combines breast meat, sautéed mushrooms, peppers, onions, Italian sausage, basil and balsamic. The dessert selection includes a family-recipe tiramisu.
