The Sitting Room Restaurant Review

: Ideal for quiet conversation, this Lower Queen Anne hangout has a funky yet romantic vibe. Oenophiles will enjoy the emphasis on French vintages --- both red and white --- with about 15 pours by the glass to complement bottle offerings. Although there is no dinner menu, a small selection of salads, pork pâté, daily soups, carbonata and charcuterie make it possible to create a satisfying meal. Try the baguette slices topped with Gorgonzola, fig jam and prosciutto, which pair well with a Sparkling Ruby cocktail (Champagne, grapefruit juice and Campari). Located next to On the Boards theatre, it's about a ten-minute walk to Seattle Center's theaters or McCaw Hall. Allow time for the walk, as well as for less than speedy service.
