The Sitting Room Restaurant Review:

Ideal for quiet conversation, this Lower Queen Anne hangout has a funky yet romantic vibe. Oenophiles will enjoy the emphasis on French vintages, both red and white, featuring about 15 by the glass pours to complement bottle offerings. Although there is no dinner menu, a small selection of salads, pork pâté, daily soups and charcuterie make it possible to create a satisfying meal. Try the baguette slices topped with Gorgonzola, fig jam and prosciutto, which pair well with a Sparkling Ruby cocktail (Champagne, grapefruit juice and Campari). Located next to On the Boards theater, it's about a 10-minute walk to Seattle Center's theaters or McCaw Hall. Allow time for the walk, as well as for less than speedy service.
