THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Skye Restaurant Review: It’s a massive (15,000-square-feet, two stories) combination of restaurant, nightclub and lounge with live music (performed by the husband and wife owners, no less). Glitz abounds with hand-blown Italian glass chandeliers, a 42-foot-tall glass tower, stage, dance floor and centerpiece 1,200-bottle circular wine cellar. But the food is no wallflower, offering fine dining from talented chef Scott Tompkins (he of Mastro’s and Marco Polo fame). The menu isn’t creative, but it’s well executed, featuring Prime steaks, cioppino packed with six types of seafood, roast duck with cherry sauce, and lobster macaroni and cheese. For premium partying, grab a seat in the private VIP lounge upstairs, order a fancy cocktail, and snack on fun nibbles like Wisconsin cheddar fondue or rock lobster corn dogs.
