The Slider Inn Restaurant Review: Often relegated to the appetizer section of many menus, tiny burgers are the main course at The Slider Inn. Despite motorcycle-themed elements in the décor and on the menu, the regular clientele is more of an artsy, hipster crowd. The creative mini burgers range from the basic Original Memphis (locally sourced ground beef, white American cheese, mayo and ketchup) to the Lowrider (citrus-marinated chicken breast, sriracha aïoli, avocado and caramelized onions). Among the veggie burger selections is the Vegan Triple (three patties made from brown rice, black beans, beets and onion). Not in the mood for a burger? Other choices include hot wings, nachos and the lobster roll sandwich made with fresh Maine lobster. Salty-sweet fries are served with The Slider Inn’s signature Jack Daniel’s mayo dipping sauce. Desserts tempt with gooey butter cake and mud pie. Wine selections are limited, but the eatery does boast a full bar. Children are welcome until 4 p.m., then it's 21 and up after 9 p.m. as smoking is allowed after that point. |
