The Smoking Gun Restaurant Review:
Whimsy meets nostalgia at this Gaslamp playground where a bright green bar, retro-orange and yellow striped walls, ping pong and foosball welcome guests. Playfulness and fun are encouraged at the bar/restaurant where diners peruse the drinks menu through plastic red viewfinders circa 1980, finding everything from fine whiskeys, boilermakers and brews to Old Fashioneds and boozy brunch sippers. Chef Kevin Templeton knows his way around Southern cooking and offers up tasty plates like brisket, pulled pork, biscuits n gravy and cornmeal fried catfish. Great happy hours, too.
