THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Snax Restaurant Review:
Snax, the little sister of the adjoining haute cuisine restaurant Something Different, stands on its own when it comes to décor with an attitude, appetizer-size selections that entice without shredding the budget and a superior selection of wine and spirits. This place hops, but in such a fun and elegant way. Have a tapa or two or order one of the mini fish, chicken or pork entrées that'll suit your budget and appease the appetite. We look forward to the crayfish and chorizo sausage baked in puff pastry and find it difficult not to have the pork tournedos wrapped in bacon and served over the yummiest potato purée. The menu changes often although some offerings stay around for a few months. Desserts can be a meal and each night there's a three-course special available. Cigar smoking is allowed and the noise level rises when it's crowded, but after all this is the casual side of fine dining.
