Soi Restaurant Review:

About the décor: An interior of lofty ceilings and highly-designed reclaimed wood hardly gives any hint as to the carefully crafted menu of traditional Thai street food that’s served at this sprawling Capitol Hill spot.

Food & Drinks: Primarily focused on Issan cuisine from Northern Thailand, offerings range from drinking snacks like crispy fried chicken skin with fish sauce to whole game hen cooked on the rotisserie. Familiar dishes of khao soi are proposed alongside wing beans tossed in coconut milk. Desserts include typical Thai fare such as roti and sticky rice and also all-American whiskey bourbon floats. While the wine list is minimal, the beer selection is extensive and the cocktail roster a standout, with a host of house-made ginger beer mules, “social” shared libations and house-bottled options.
