Sola Restaurant Review

: Chef-owner Dave Clouser uses a small network of local farmers and artisanal cheese producers to create an elegant menu, which can loosely be described as modern American with a Mediterranean accent. He uses the best ingredients of the season, resulting in dishes like wild mushroom tart with truffle cream, English pea soup with herbed oil drizzle, seared scallops with butternut squash purée and pomegranate seeds, and braised short rib with pommes dauphine. Clouser’s résumé includes stints at Susanna Foo, Nectar and Krazy Kats, and many in his kitchen have worked together for years. There is a $4 corkage fee at this BYOB, but many feel that it's well worth it considering the lovely stemware and table settings.
