SoleFood Restaurant Review

: Chef Tom Harkins is in the kitchen at SoleFood, a lobby-level restaurant with sweeping spaces and terrific streetscape views. Harkins emphasizes Philadelphia as a port city with a seafood menu that is simple, elegant and draws on influences from around the world. Seasonal and sustainable ingredients are at the forefront in dishes such as grilled Block Island swordfish with caramelized parsnips and chanterelle mushrooms and Jersey tomato soup topped with a blue crab cake. There is steak and chicken for those not enamored of sea critters. The wine list also offers half bottles for those times when a glass isn't enough and a bottle is too much. Do ask for the mini cappuccino with beignets for dessert.
