| Cheery staff serve up casual lunch in this narrow space outfitted with decorative palm trees, brick and ochre hues and cherry wood details. Happy hour finds the long bar packed with Civic Center locals ordering up Rude Boys (double espresso and Bailey's) and Pain Killers off the signature cocktail list. Those who stay for dinner enjoy creative California cuisine and a decent wine list. Start with a very California salad of avocado and mango with a citrus vinaigrette. Larger plates include a miso-marinated sea bass or pasta with spinach or spicy marinara. After hours, Soluna becomes a dance party---the pick-up window becomes a DJ booth, the bar becomes three-people deep and the spot stays open till 2 a.m. |
