The charming Sonia Rose teases palates with its flavorful, eclectic prix-fixe menu ($29.50 per person). You may find warm jumbo asparagus in puff pastry; warm New Zealand mussels with a basil- and garlic-accented tomato sauce; warm Montrachet goat cheese salad; poached Norwegian salmon in lobster beurre blanc; breast of free-range hen; and tenderloin of veal with morel sauce. Service is friendly and professional, prices are reasonable and the food is rendered with authority. We always overdose on the warm brioche bread. The shrewdly compiled wine list includes reasonably priced French and American wines.
