Souper Salad offers consistently good muffins, wraps and homemade soups. If you come for breakfast, pick up a wild blueberry muffin to take with you on the go or opt for a heartier south-of-the-border burrito filled with scrambled eggs, salsa, black beans, cheddar and scallions. Soup selections range from wild mushroom barley to Grandma's chicken noodle. Sandwiches include classics like tuna salad and chicken salad, plus some nice additions such as turkey with apple wood-smoked bacon, chimichurri aïoli and roasted sweet onion served on Tuscan sourdough. The Caesar (either classic or with chicken) is the signature “walkabout,” pita filled with all the fixings then rolled up into a wrap. For a healthier alternative, head to the salad bar.
