South of the Clouds' specialty is mixian, rice noodles from the Yunnan province of China. The noodles are served either dry or in spicy, long-simmered chicken broth or tomato soup base. Other offerings include deep-fried mushrooms, dumplings and Yunnan ghost chicken. End on a sweet note with milky rice or taro tapioca pudding.
