Spaghettini Restaurant Review: Spaghettini may be better known for its live jazz and R&B scene than for its food. World-class as well as up-and-coming acts, both local and touring, come here to play in the lounge. But even with the musical overtones, owners Laurie Sisneros and Cary Hardwick make sure their family-friendly restaurant serves traditional Italian fare. Regulars come for the thin-crust pizzas with gourmet toppings like jumbo shrimp, salami and artichokes. Pasta dishes are also winners, with zesty combinations such as lemon-herb chicken and goat cheese, tomato and artichoke hearts, and lots of seafood. Entrées include chicken Marsala and grilled lamb chops. The jazz Sunday brunch is lavish with free-flowing Domaine Ste. Michelle sparkling wine, Mondavi Woodbridge wines, fresh-baked muffins, California-style salads, Italian pastas, traditional American breakfast dishes, waffles, a fresh seafood station and house-made desserts. Although the restaurant is family-friendly, expect a hopping bar scene later at night.
