Spark Woodfire Grill Restaurant Review: There are actually very few choices for unobstructed ocean-view dining in Huntington Beach, and Spark Woodfire Grill offers one of the best spots of all, thanks to its second-story picture windows and outdoor patio with a cozy fire pit. Chef-partner Tom Shields added more seafood selections to this Spark locale, but the draw here is the 1,600-degree steak broiler. Start with the savory Maryland-style blue crab cakes, which come with a creamy and tangy chipotle aïoli. The menu, however, is truly eclectic, with dishes like Atlantic salmon, shrimp and lobster linguine, rack of lamb, herb-crusted sirloin and gourmet burgers. The chocolate croissant bread pudding headlines the dessert options. On the weekends, the restaurant presents a plated brunch menu highlighted by several creative variations on eggs Benedict.
