Spicy Kimchi Restaurant Review:
This friendly, tiny Korean eatery in Diamond Bar offers all the cuisine’s staples at bargain prices in a simple room with photo murals, contemporary lighting and plasma screens showing videos of Korean pop bands. You can find the classic bibimbap (rice bowl topped with meat, vegetables and a fried egg) in a sizzling hot pot --- just add some hot sauce, stir and you’ve got a satisfying, filling meal --- as well as marinated, barbecued beef known as bulgogi, and galbi (beef short ribs) plus tofu soups. For starters, there are wonton pockets stuffed with kimchi fried rice, a leek pancake or japchae (chilled glass noodles).
