 Take the plunge and dive into Splash overlooking the Long Island Sound. The Asian and Latin-American-inspired, predominantly seafood and fish menu attracts diners who, on steamy summer evenings, vie for tables on the outdoor deck and patio. On the flipside, a glowing fireplace and sunset views of the water make Splash equally attractive in winter. The appetizers, like most of the menu, consist of traditional dishes prepared with a twist, like the pan-fried crab cakes with lime-chili aïoli and pickled vegetables slaw. For an entrée, try the Chilean sea bass baked in a banana leaf Southeast Asian-style, with a coconut rice cake and glazed carrot accompaniment. The lemon and herb crusted ahi steak is served with spicy wasabi potato spring rolls and a tart citrus salsa. Dessert selections have included a chocolate lava cake with fresh berries and caramel ice cream.
