About the restaurant & décor: Located on Huntington Beach’s northern edge far from the city’s downtown bustle, this casual place has a patterned wood interior and slight industrial décor that provide a dash of hipness to a relaxed vibe. The ambience dovetails nicely with the venue’s approachable contemporary fare.

Likes: Interactive tableside menu for easy customization.
Dislikes: Not as much server interaction as a typical restaurant.

Food & Drinks: While appetizers like smoky chicken wings or spinach artichoke dip and shareable flatbreads get the meal going, a healthy hunk of the menu is devoted to a roster of fully customizable salads, burgers, burritos and mac ‘n’ cheese plates. This versatility makes it a family-friendly option, and it leaves plenty of room to get eclectic, as toppings like ghost pepper cheese, pastrami and curry ketchup are on hand. We recommend paying attention to the set menu items such as the bleu cheese burger or the must-try chicken pesto mac ‘n cheese with grilled chicken breast and fresh mushrooms. Finish your meal with the warm butter cake skillet. While the kiddies enjoy a custom-built shake, grown-ups can imbibe a seasonal cocktail or a local craft brew.
