THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES The Stafford Restaurant Review:
The Stafford is a gem of a hotel, with a rather formal, pretty restaurant and the American Bar with its own bar menu. The restaurant menu is traditional, offering smoked salmon with crab cake and caviar, steak tartare and terrines for starters followed by native lamb in three cuts with pea mousse, and even a tournedos Rossini with foie gras for the real die-hards. The wine list is long and venerable, with the wines kept in the underground cellars and let out for private dining. The experience is extremely satisfying. Set 3-course lunch including coffee £29.50.
