 American food with a French flair translates into dishes such as braised short ribs served with radish salad with Anson Mills polenta; and olive oil poached halibut with asparagus purée, beet gastrique, and shaved fennel and asparagus salad drizzled with tarragon aïoli. High quality steaks are prepared on a wood-burning grill. For dessert, order the Valrhona chocolate pot de crème with spiced dulce de leche and orange cornmeal biscotti. The wine list is extensive and there’s a wine shop on the premises---and look for wine tasting notices.
