Stanich's Ten Till One Tavern Restaurant Review: Long a popular spot for beer and burgers, Stanich’s hasn’t changed much since it opened in 1949. The grandkids of original owner George and Gladys Stanich now run the spot and have maintained its reputation for friendly personalized service, plenty of sports talk, and the Special, a five-pound burger. The rest of the menu hovers around that huge royal hamburger, but includes favorite all-American diner fare as well. Choose from traditional sandwiches such as a patty melt, BLT, or ham and cheese. Spend some time perusing the memorabilia-packed walls, or work off that deluxe burger playing pool. This place is a throwback, so don’t expect more. It’s cash only here, with a convenient on-site ATM. |
