Stanich's Ten Till One Tavern Restaurant Review: George and Gladys Stanich opened this popular spot in 1949, and it hasn't changed much in the intervening years. The décor is early '50s diner, with a trace of dive bar tossed in and colorful sports pennants adorning the walls. The thing to order is the burger "special," replete with a thinnish patty of ground beef plus cheese, ham, bacon, egg, tomato, lettuce and onion. You may also try sandwiches such as turkey, tuna or a BLT, but why? Vegetarians or those concerned with the provenance of their grass-fed beef won't find much to eat. Spend some time perusing the memorabilia-packed walls or work off that deluxe burger playing pool. This place is a throwback, so don’t expect more. It’s cash only, with a convenient on-site ATM.
