The small, quiet Indian restaurant is easily bypassed because of its strip-mall location on a busy highway. But it's worth pulling in to experience a whole gamut of tastes, starting with the appetizer sampler which has airy papadam and hearty samosas. Let the knowledgeable servers suggest your fare but do try the chicken mahkhni, a tender, marinated chicken cooked with cream and almonds, or shrimp balti served in a wok. There's a 12-item lunch buffet Tuesday through Friday. Ask about the homemade desserts.
